Office Coordinator/Care Supervisor

We are looking for a compassionate and caring individual to work as and Office Coordinator / Care Supervisor on a part-time basis and gradually grow with the company to a full-time position.


This position reports to the Administrator/Manager. Office Coordinator/Care Supervisor practices to reflect Compassion Senior Care’s Missions and Values within the context of Senior-Centered Care, and within the established Vision and Mission of Compassion Senior Care. Office Coordinator/Care Supervisor responsibilities include:

  • Assumes administrative responsibilities of the day-to-day operations of the Company
  • Supervises the development and implementation of the Company’s Policies & Procedures while adhering to industry standards
  • Recruits, selects, hires and provides initial orientation to all new employees
  • Conducts in-home assessments and determine needs of the clients
  • Coordinates with client, family and multidisciplinary team members to develop, implement and maintain care and service plans
  • Matches and schedules Home Care Assistants with the clients considering the needs of clients and qualifications of the Home Care Assistants
  • Oversees services provided to clients in their own homes and ensures policies and procedures are followed and adhered to, in order to achieve superior Senior-Centered Care in a caring and respectful manner
  • Conducts clients satisfaction surveys and continuous evaluation of care provided and propose improvements
  • Oversees the continuous education and development of employees and Home Care Assistants
  • Provide Leadership to all employees


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ recent experience in a Senior Home Care setting
  • RN designation with current registration with CARNA preferred
  • Dementia certification preferred
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Chronic disease management
  • Experience in conducting physical, mental, psychosocial and functional environmental assessments.

  • Ability to develop excellent relationship with clients and their families
  • Knowledge of industry practice standards as they apply to Seniors care
  • Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other related software and operating systems


  • Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license; clean driving record and a reliable vehicle as local area travel may be required.
  • Use of personal vehicle is required
  • Criminal check record with vulnerable sector check (within one year)
  • Good command of English
